Better– that’s something we all strive to be. But how do we know what we need to improve in order for us to live a better life? With this year’s Summer Camp, you will learn how to improve important areas of your life that will truly make a difference in the outlook and purpose of your life. This will be done by building practical skills, strengthening your faith and connecting with a community of believers across all ages.

Whether you’re seeking tools to strengthen your family, grow in your career, or navigate the challenges of adolescence, you’ll leave this camp better equipped with insights and resources for every season of life.

Family

Parenting and family life don’t come with a manual, but what if you could learn practical tools to create a happier home? This track is for parents, couples, and families looking to navigate the everyday challenges of raising kids, managing relationships, and building a strong, healthy family culture. Through expert-led sessions, open discussions, and real-life strategies, you’ll gain insights on:

  • Raising resilient, emotionally healthy children.
  • Balancing love and discipline.
  • Handling family conflicts and tough conversations.
  • Strengthening your relationship with your partner.

A Fun & Engaging Program for Kids! (5-11)

While parents are in sessions, kids will have an unforgettable time in our children’s program, designed to be both fun and enriching. With age-appropriate activities, games, and interactive learning, your children will have just as much to look forward to as you do!

Nursery for Ages (0-4)

For our youngest attendees, we offer a nursery program where experienced teachers and leaders will teach songs, engage little ones, and provide a caring environment. One parent may need to be present during the sessions for this age group, but we’ll do our best to accommodate all parents so they can fully participate in the camp experience.

Student+Young Professionals

Climbing the career ladder is one thing - finding balance, purpose, and true success is another. This track is designed for young professionals and students looking for practical strategies to navigate work and life with confidence. Through engaging workshops and insightful speakers, you’ll learn how to:

  • Lead with confidence and integrity.
  • Manage workplace conflicts and difficult conversations.
  • Handle stress, burnout, and work-life balance.
  • Make smarter financial and career decisions.

Teens (12-17)

Let’s be real, school doesn’t teach us everything. This track is all about the things that actually matter when it comes to friendships, confidence, and real-life challenges. Whether you’re figuring out your future, dealing with social pressure, or just looking to have fun and meet new people, this track is for you. We'll talk about:

  • Knowing ourselves and understanding our emotions.
  • Navigating friendships and dating.
  • Relationships with parents and resolving conflicts.

LOCATION / ACCOMMODATION

Sjöviks folkhögskola offers a picturesque campsite located in southern Dalarna, about 10 kilometers from Avesta, Sweden. The school is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Bäsingen, which flows into the Dalälven river, and is surrounded by forests and fields

Sjövik campsite has many different buildings for accommodation. Families with children 0-12 we provide rooms with private bathrooms. Other participants: some rooms with shared bathroom facilities, some rooms with private bathrooms.

Please bring your own bed linens and towels
